Competency handbook (study context)

What are competencies?

A competency is a unique combination of knowledge, skills and attitude, which is reflected in visible behaviour, which makes the person successful in his or her education, position or career.

What can the competency system be used for?

The NOA competency system describes 41 competencies. The competency system can be used in recruitment and selection procedures, study career interviews, performance or development interviews, in the search for suitable follow-up positions and in career and coaching processes. The competencies can be measured with the NOA Competency Test.
