Tackling problems
The Tackling Problems competency focuses on actively tackling problems and daring to confront problems. An example of a question that belongs to this competence is: "I act immediately when there are problems".
Development tips
- Don't make problems too big, divide them into smaller problems and tackle them step by step.
- Think about what you find difficult about a problem and then check whether this is mainly a feeling and whether it is right that you do not tackle the problem because of that. Discuss this feeling with someone else.
- Research how others tackle these kinds of problems.
- Ask for help from others
- Make a list of the biggest problems. Share the list with someone you know. Tackle the most difficult problem first. Reward yourself for doing this.
