The Seeking Support competency focuses on daring to share concerns with others and asking others for support. An example of a question that belongs to this competence is: "I discuss my problems with friends".
Development tips
- Don't make problems bigger than they are.
- Think of and write down what is holding you back from discussing your problems with someone else.
- Don't keep your problems to yourself, discuss them with friends or family.
- Your study advisor can also help you if you have a problem.
- Various support options can also be found on the internet. For example, email anonymously to a counseling site what is stopping you from seeking support.
