Analyze

The Analyze competency says something about your ability to get an overview of information and understand it. An example of a question that belongs to this competence is: "With a large amount of information, I quickly see what is important".

Development tips:

• When reading a chapter, think about what is important and what you can skip. Read the information in order of importance.
• Think about what information you understand and what information you don't. Ask questions about information you don't understand, or look for additional information yourself.
• Look at a study assignment from different angles. Think about what you should learn from the study assignment.
• Think of multiple ways to carry out a study assignment.
• Discuss your plans or solutions with a fellow student. Ask fellow students how they would approach a particular study assignment.
• Think about how you've handled complicated study assignments in the past. Use these examples when undertaking new study assignments.
