Personality test MP-B6
What is someone's natural behavior?
- Based on the Big 6: extraversion, conscientiousness, emotional stability, openness, friendliness, and integrity
- General norm group
- Duration: 15 minutes
- Available in the NOA Talent Portal
The purpose of the MP-B6 is to provide a picture of someone's personal characteristics and the potential strengths and pitfalls associated with them. The MP-B6 report identifies both the benefits and risks associated with specific scores for the subscales. Both the scale names and the results are presented more neutrally.
This NOA personality test maps a person's personal characteristics using six personality dimensions with underlying scales. It is an extension of the now well-known Big Five model, a theoretically neutral model based on the occurrence of personal descriptive terms in natural language. In the model used by NOA, individual differences are grouped into six dimensions. These will be explained below.

The MP-B6 is suitable for men and women aged approximately 15 and older and is suitable for people with and without a migration background. This was explicitly taken into account during development. Culturally sensitive items and expressions have been avoided, and the language used is concrete, neutral, and simple. The language level is such that even people with low language proficiency can take the test. A minimum level of Dutch language proficiency at NT2 (NIVOR) is assumed. A general, representative norm is available, weighted for gender, age, education level, and ethnicity.
The MP-B6 is only available online in the NOA Talent Portal. This system can also be used to generate expert reports. These expert reports explain the measurement claims of the scales and present the scores verbally and in a graph.
Depending on your experience and expertise using similar tests, NOA requires training in applying and interpreting the MP-B6. This is to ensure the quality of test use and thorough feedback.
