Fairness

We pay a lot of attention to diversity and inclusion and think it is very important that our instruments are fair. We therefore conduct extensive scientific research into the possible influence of culture, gender or age on our instruments. For example, we conduct bias research, ensure that test instructions are as straightforward as possible, do not use unnecessarily difficult words or phrases and offer candidates the opportunity to practice. It is also possible to use specific reference/norm groups for certain tests.

Scientific research

This focus on fairness has also led us to finance a professor who is involved in this research. This chair 'Work and Personnel Psychology in particular aimed at immigrant ethnic groups' is connected to the section Social & Organizational Psychology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The chair is currently being held by Prof. dr. Dr. Marise Born. Marise also works as a professor at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
