New personality test MP-B6
We have informed you about this before, but our new Personality Test MP-B6 is now really ready and available in the new NOA Talent Portal!
This new personality test maps someone's personal characteristics on the basis of six personality dimensions with 18 underlying scales. It is an extension of the now well-known Big Five model, a theoretically neutral, internationally validated model based on the occurrence of personal descriptive terms in natural language.
A major advantage over the existing MPT-BS is the shorter take-off time. The MP-B6 contains 120 questions (MPT-BS 200) and the duration is 10-15 minutes.
The test is not an adaptation of the existing MPT-BS but has been developed from scratch in three pilot studies. All items are at A2/B1 language level. Furthermore, the psychometric quality is good and the reports have improved on several points.

Interest/career choice test (BKT-M) now also with link to professions and vacancies
For our interest test, the Career Choice Test Intermediate Level (BKT-M), a report is now also available with a link to professions, matching courses, internships and vacancies.
The report can be used in the context of reorientation or when looking for internships or work. The report is available in both NOA 2.0 and the new NOA Talent Portal.

Updated and shortened version of the Competency Test
A new version of the competency test is available in the new NOA Talent Portal.
Based on research with tens of thousands of candidates, the test has been shortened and items have been adjusted and renewed. A number of extra competencies have also been added.
The number of items per competency has almost halved from 10 to 5 or 6 items. Reliability has not decreased and sometimes even improved.
The items have also been simplified if necessary and items meet the B1 language level.
Due to the shortening, the test is now much easier to use and the candidate experience has improved considerably.
The competency model now consists of 41 competencies, from which 10 to 14 competencies are usually chosen.

On the road! now also available in Turkish
At the request of many customers, we have worked hard over the past six months to make the Op weg! method also available in Turkish.
The number of Turkish status holders has risen sharply in recent years and this group is now in second place after Syrian status holders in terms of the number of residence permits.
It is therefore nice that Op weg! can now also be used with this group.
It can also be nice for some regular benefit recipients with a Turkish background to be able to offer a Turkish version as well.

Adaptive Ability Test
The development of the adaptive capacity test is progressing well. The first test tests with a number of subtests have now taken place in the NOA Talent Portal. A total of six subtests will be developed: Puzzling with words, Comparing words, Puzzling with pictures, Comparing pictures, Puzzling with numbers and Arithmetic.
The basis for these tests are the items of the MCT-M and MCT-H. A total of 12,000 (!) candidates were taken in order to collect the psychometric data that can be used to compile an adaptive test.
All kinds of analyses have also been done to detect partiality, for example, and to choose the items that meet our high standards.
A major advantage of the adaptive ability test is that the test can be used for all levels. The difficulty of the items adapts to the candidate.
In addition, the purchase is considerably shorter and the burden on the candidate is therefore considerably less.
We expect to be able to offer the MCT-Adaptive in our new NOA Talent Portal by the middle of this year.
