In the spotlight: On the road!

NOA has a new total solution for all benefit recipients of municipalities: "We now have online tests for new intake, current file and for status holders. We have combined these into a flexible test that can be used for all target groups. This test is called On the road!", says Edwin van den Akker, account manager municipalities.

On the road! offers a number of advantages:

• Purchase in multiple languages possible
• Choice of all parts of the broad intake
• Can be flexibly set up according to target group (e.g. highly or practically educated)
• Purchase in phases is possible
• Clear language, culturally fair

Edwin: "For each target group (new intake, status holders and current  file), a tailor-made package can be put together that meets the exact demand. NOA can advise on this.

There are also new components such as a competency test (forced choice) and practical information.

A mediatability score can also be calculated for new intake. Can someone be helped with little help or is a more intensive process needed? This allows consultants to determine an appropriate follow-up process. For the incumbent file that does not speak Dutch well, parts can be taken in their own language".

The municipality of The Hague has been using an NOA test for the broad intake of new benefit recipients for over 6 years. Lately, this test has been taken online at home. The intake test focuses on topics such as self-reliance, work motivation, learnability, language and personality. Edwin: "For the municipality of The Hague, we are going to do a trial with Op Weg! for the broad intake. In the Op weg! version of the broad intake, the test can also be taken in English. In the future, this will be expanded to include more languages. The report will have a new stimulating structure with the classification who am I, what do I want, what can I do and use of icons".

The new test On the road! gives concrete tips to consultants and candidates on their way to work, training or participation. Edwin: "On the road!, there is literally movement in it and that is what you want to achieve, that people get moving to take themselves further. It is an innovative and stimulating instrument based on scientific insights".
