StartMeter MBO

The Startmeter MBO is an online tool for students in the 3rd year of VMBO. It aims to improve placement and prevent study dropout.

The Startmeter helps with career orientation and measures, for example, interests, motivation, competences, personality and learning styles. The tests clearly show whether a student has the right attributes for a study programme. They also take the student's personal situation into account. These insights help guide a well-founded (re)orientation. The test is well suited for intake in vocational education. Experience has shown that students find the StartMeter very useful and recognise themselves in the results.

Also available: the StartMeter Newcomers for vocational education. It is intended for newcomers, such as refugees and status holders, with little or no Dutch. The StartMeter-N is available in Dutch, English, Arabic, Persian and Tigrinya.

The Startmeter consists of a composition of scientifically substantiated tests that help with professional orientation and a successful study course.
