NOA was founded in 1996 at the VU Free University, department of Work & Organizational Psychology with the aim of making psychological tests more suitable for people with different cultural backgrounds.
Our mission is to develop psychological tools based on scientific research that are objective and fair for people with diverse backgrounds (in terms of culture, language, age, religion or gender). These instruments should help people find a suitable training or job, but also help organizations select, guide and develop students, job seekers or employees.
Our foundation finances scientific research in this area, for example by financing an endowed chair and doctoral research. Click here for more information about the foundation.
