On the road! Renewed: more possibilities for customization

More accessible, more flexible and even better attuned to practice.

With the integration of Op Weg! in the NOA Talent Portal (NTP) not only the design has been renewed. New modules have also been added that respond to current themes such as digitization, financial self-sufficiency and language.

New modules for a more complete picture

The new Digital Skills questionnaire gives consultants more insight into practical skills. Can someone independently use a route planner, make appointments online or find digital information? These skills are especially important in matters such as contact with the municipality or the UWV.

A Financial self-reliance module has also been added to identify possible financial bottlenecks, such as debts. Following this, the Financial Fitness questionnaire can then be used to look at how someone deals with money matters: is there an overview, is there planning and is it possible to make financial choices?

New version of the Visual Interest Test: Picture Interest Test

This renewed visual interest test is in the final test phase and will later be the Visual interest test module of Op weg! replaced. The new test works with modern, photorealistic images for twelve professional sectors. This makes the test very useful when language is an obstacle, for example for status holders who have only been in the Netherlands for a short time or for students in special and practical education. Of course, users will be informed about this. It is possible to request a demo login from us for this new module.

More customization, less questioning

"We hear from our customers that Op Weg! in the NOA Talent Portal is more accessible and customer-friendly," says Nadia Kaniuk of NOA. "Municipalities can choose modules themselves and thus offer real customization. Moreover, the assessment provides a lot of information in a short time. That information is already there and does not need to be extensively requested first. This allows supervisors to immediately enter into an in-depth conversation." And it is precisely that conversation that remains central. Even with sensitive topics, such as financial or psychological problems, the candidate decides for himself what he or she wants to discuss. It is not necessary, but it can be valuable for a consultant to know what is going on. In this way, the guidance can better match the person and the steps that are needed towards work.
