Cognitive Ability Test

A cognitive ability test can measure certain cognitive capacities or skills. A cognitive ability tests usually consists of different tests. These tests measure different skills, such as spatial awareness, arithmetical skills, language understanding and speed. Based on the test it is possible to say something about whether a person can follow an course of a certain level, or carry out a certain job.

Personality test

A personality test tries to measure your natural way of responding in certain situations. People have different characteristics which makes them different, and makes them respond different, than others.

Recent scientific developments within psychology have shown that personality can be best described by dividing it into six independent dimensions.

The dimensions are:

  • Friendliness
  • Being precise and abiding by rules
  • Focus on other people (be it introvert or extrovert)
  • Being open for new things
  • Being emotionally stable
  • Being honest

These characteristics are measured during the personality test by asking people if they agree or disagree with certain phrases.

Interest test

An interest test looks at what you enjoy or what you think is fun to do. For example, some people like helping others, others enjoy solving technical problems and others enjoy thinking up new ideas.

Within an interest test you often find different types of work, activities and job sectors.

Competency test

A competency test concerns your skills and competentie. What are you good in and what are you less good in? In concerns your behaviour, how you approach things, how you work with others, how often you do something etc.
