What are someone's basic motivations?

How do you know which values are important to someone? What are someone's basic motivations? Does anyone find recognition important or helping others?

NOA has developed two questionnaires in this area: the Values Questionnaire (WVL) intended for different situations (general, work situations) and the Study Motivations Questionnaire (SDV), intended for educational situations.
